Arvind Kejrival on 27th July(2013) launched the AAP(AAm Admi Party) in Karnataka.
He discussed his views about the present political parties viz BJP and congress with the people of Karnataka and explained why an alternative party is needed.

“People are upset with both the parties. I don’t think these two (Rahul Gandhi and Narendra Modi) can provide a good future,” he said.“I think there is a serious leadership crisis in this country. There is no strong and credible leader on the horizon, which is why the coalitions exist,” he said.
“First of all, I would like to congratulate the people of Karnataka as the Aam Aadmi Party has been formally launched here. The people of Karnataka have seen both the Congress and BJP, which are corrupt parties and they are sad with both of them,” said Kejriwal.
“People here did not use to vote in the party, but vote out it. People had no option. It will be very good for the people that they will now get an alternative in the form of a honest party,” he added.
