Complete Report
A record 66 per cent of around 1.2 crore voters exercised their franchise on 4th December in the Delhi assembly election.

On December 8, final results were made public.

• As clear none of the parties are in position to attain a natural majority (min of 36 seats)
• Moreover each of the party has made it very clear that they won't try to form government via coalition.
• If no party can agree to form a coalition government, Delhi would be put under president's rule until a new election is held within six months.
• Delhi Lieutenant-Governor Najeeb Jung dissolved the Legislative Assembly and forwarded the resignation of Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit to President Pranab Mukherjee. 
• With the Aam Aadmi Party  winning over 28 of the 70 seats in the Delhi Assembly elections, the Election Commission is all set to recognise it as a ‘State party.’
  To get recognition as a State party, all the candidates set up by the party together should get a minimum of eight per cent of the valid votes polled in the entire State or secure a minimum of six per cent of the total votes polled and one Assembly seat for every 25 seats in that State.

Anna in Gurgaon hospital ICU,likely be discharged in a day or two

Anna Hazare was admitted in the intensive care unit (ICU) of private hospital (medanta-the medicity) in Gurgaon on Friday(7, DEC 2012) morning after he complained of cough,acidity and weakness. 

Kiran Bedi and Arvind Kejriwal spread the news of his ill health on a social networking website.

"Anna is admitted in Medanta and under intensive care of a team of doctors. What are the health issues only doctors can say as professionals!" Bedi said around noon on Friday.

"Anna in hospital. I wish I cud go to see him. I wish him fast recovery," Kejrival said around the same time.

Anna Hazare  is recovering and will be discharged in a day or two, a doctor said on Saturday.

"Anna is not under stress at present. A team of doctors led by Naresh Trehan is keeping close watch on medical reports of Anna. He is better than Friday. Hopefully he will allowed to go home in a day or two," said K.L. Sehgal, a senior doctor of Medicity Medanta, 

"He is recovering and his vitals are stable. He was given food on the directions of a nutritionist. He needs more rest,"Sehgal continued 

In a message to his supporters from the in the intensive care unit, Hazare said: "I'm recovering and will soon meet the activists from January. I will go for awareness campaign across the country as scheduled."

Editor's View: Its great that Anna Ji is recovering but its a shame that there was no news broadcasted  on TV channels about Anna's admitting in ICU and his health conditions. TV media didn't even mentioned his conditions, its a pity!

Kiran bedi not interested in political outfit :Her ideology

Kiran Bedi on Monday (September 3) expressed that the need of the hour is to focus on passage of lokpal and not on political alternative.
Bedi's ideology 

• According to her the nation priority is to get  lokpal bill and Right to Reject.
• For this purpose one may use or work with political parties like that of opposition to propagate .
• Formation an alternative party should take place only after the passage of lokpal and Right to Reject(RTR) because without lokpal and RTR it will be difficult for both candidates and voters to knock out the old and corrupt party and make space for a fresh one.
• Bedi on twitter brushed  off rumors of her joining any political party. saying
  "I am not joining any political party. Any such info is rumoured by those who want this to happen!" she said.

• She said that  basis of the entire movement was to remain non political! And focus on getting the janlokpal bill and not fight elections!
• Bedi said that she respects Kejriwal's decision, but  she was not a part of the political outfit.It's exactly like Anna. Anna is not a part of the political outfit," she said.

Ramdev's fast update

Complete update till date

• Ramdev who on Aug 9 started his three days fast, on the third day of the fast (11 Aug) gave an ultimatum to Govt to respond to key demands till 5pm of the extended fourth day of fast ( i.e 12 Aug)
• As government ignored the ultimatum, Ramdev today (Aug 12) on 4th day of his fast at Jantar Mantar hit out at the Congress-led UPA government saying it has no political will to rein in corruption and bring back black money stashed in tax havens. 

• He said that he will take his agitation countrywide and asked the countrymen to join his movement.He also clarified his non political motive behind the movement.
• However, during the campaign he had given invitation to all parties and members of Parliament to join his fast.

• Today  Former Indian Army Chief V.K.Singh and Kiran Bedi were seen sharing stage with Ramdev.However  Anna Hazare and other members of the team have stayed away.  

• During his fast Baba also tried to promote his secular image by carrying out  iftaar each evening as the Ramzan month is going on. 
• Ramdev is likely to announce his "big announcement” on the next course of his agitation on Monday.
• A large amount of crowd is attending the Baba's fast.

Govt told media to ignore fast at Jantar-Mantar: Kiran Bedi

Have you ever wondered why media is not giving coverage to T.Anna's fast?
Why complete knowledge about lokpal and fast is not shared with public by mass media?

Answering these questions Kiran Bedi  today alleged that the media was instructed by the UPA government to "underplay" the ongoing agitation of the movement for a strong Lokpal and action against central ministers accused of corruption.

• "There is a letter in writing from the government instructing media to underplay our agitation at Jantar Mantar as it is seen as a threat to its survival," she told reporters here.
• The government was opposing the Janalokpal Bill because if its enacted its cabinet ministers would be under investigation threatening their survival, she said

• On the controversial meeting of Hazare with Union law minister Salman Khurshid near Pune last month, she said, "It was Khurshid who came to meet Anna for discussion.

• She also said  that movement is "apolitical", adding that the team members were not hankering after any position of power.

• Bedi said the crowd was enough at Jantar Mantar, adding that "Jantar Mantar is not Ramlila Maidan".

Team Anna holds rally in Delhi

To gear up  momentum for the indefinite fast from July 25, Team Anna and IAC held a rally on Sunday(July 22) from Raj Ghat to Jantar Mantar. 


 Four-wheelers and two-wheelers , shirts with "I AM Anna" "Being Anna” writter on them, slogans,Tricolour  etc were common views of the rally.
While most of the members of core committee Including Arvind Khejrival were present at the rally, Anna and Kiran Bedi were absent.

• A supporter said  “I want a country which is corruption free for my children. I have attended all the protests organised by Annaji. The Government’s Lokpal Bill is a flawed one under which the investigation agencies such as the Central Bureau of Investigation would not be independent of it,”
• Col. S.C. Talwar, a resident of Gurgaon  and an active participate of the year old campaign said  “Back then, I joined as an officer and he(Anna ) joined at a junior rank. But today I am his (Anna’s) soldier and he is capable enough to lead this nation,”

No evidence against Kiran Bedi in fund abuse case:crime branch

Background Eight months before  A Delhi-based lawyer Devinder Singh Chauhan had alleged that Bedi had misused donations of over Rs 50 lakh received from Microsoft for her NGO  for imparting free computer training to the children and families of BSF, CISF, ITBP, CRPF personnel and other state police organizations through her trust 'India Vision Foundation' and 'Navjyoti Foundation'.
On basis of complaint Delhi Police registered a case against Kiran Bedi for allegedly misusing funds meant for her NGOs

However, In that case crime branch has not found any evidence of misappropriation by Bedi.  According  sources in crime branch  a closure report report might be filed soon in the case.
We have examined all the documents related to donations of Rs 50 lakh by Microsoft to her NGO. The money was part of donation and there is no evidence to show that she siphoned off money for personal benefits," said a source.

Crime Branch Failed to find any evidence in following charges against Bedi

1. Bedi got permission of four community centers by an undertaking that she would not charge any fee from students, but it  alleged was  she was charging Rs 15,000 per student
2. She was also alleged for misusing  the names of various government organizations, including banks, listing them as donors to get more donations

"These allegations could not be proved and officials of Microsoft have not given any adverse statement against Kiran Bedi,"  said an officer
Crime branch officers said they would soon submit a detailed report of the investigation in the court. 

Editor's View: Its an old and well accepted political understanding that whenever a demonstration or movement against rulers gains momentum, it is tried to defame and demoralize by the rulers by each and every means. In case of T.Anna, GOVT has also tried all the means to defame it!

Ramdev or not?: Internal battle in Team Anna

An internal Battle is going on in T.Anna on the issue of campaigning with Ramdev. Earlier Anna Hazare and Baba Ramdev met on April 20, 2012 and addressed the media about their future co bonded campaign and tour plans.Anna also announced a Joint- fast at Jantar Mantar 3 June . Not a single IAC member was present at the conference in Gurgaon.
 But later it was announced Anna will not tour with Baba Ramdev,  He and Ramdev will share stage wherever they meet during their all-India tour. However, there will be no joint tour and campaign.
This change of decision and some other factors indicates row within Team Anna over campaigning with Baba.
On Sunday, June 3(2012) as announced by Anna on April 20 , Anna and Ramdec shared a stage on Jantar Mantar and sat on a day-long fast.  Fast went successful and now there is a possibility of Anna and Ramdev campaigning together. Yet , no  clear response is obtained from members of Team Anna on the movement’s association with the yoga guru. Earlier Anna was also not in great support of Ramdev , but now Anna is in support of the Anna-Ramdev bond.and believes that the association with yoga guru will create pressure on the government  and there is no harm in attacking the government on the black money issue.

Anna also finds Ramdev’s strategies acceptable. During a twenty minute-long speech at Jantar Mantar on 3 June, Hazare did not name a single political leader as decided by Ramdev.However, many in the team including Arvind Kejriwal do not agree with this view.


However, Team Anna is not as much straight as Anna on issue of associating with Ramdev. Team is divided in pro-Ramdev(supporters) and anti Ramdev (opposers) groups. 

• The anti- Ramdev group argues that allying with Ramdev will do more damage to the movement than good.Those who oppose Ramdev Believes that Ramdev is associated with rss.
• The anti-Ramdev lobby argues that it is fine to hold closed door discussions with Ramdev and extend moral support to him but keep him at arm’s length.
•  In June last year, Ramdev said that there was nepotism in the joint drafting committee of Lokpal bill due to the presence of two members of the Bhushan family. This is another reason why a part of T.Anna dislikes Ramdev

In a core committee meeting at Nodia Kiran Bedi and Prashant Bhushan gave divergent opinions and presented a study in contrast when asked about the association with Ramdev. Bedi said it was is a common cause and these are two sides of the same coin, 
 Bhushan chose his words carefully. “We support Baba Ramdev on the issue which he is undertaking and he supports us on the Lokpal issue. But, the campaign will not be held on a common platform. It was Ramdev who talked about a joint campaign but our team had nothing said anything on it"

 Ramdev has been with the movement from the very beginning. On 14 November, 2010, Ramdev and Kejriwal were two of the ten people who signed a petition demanding the arrest of Suresh Kalmadi, then union sports minister. . On 27 February, 2011, Ramdev held a rally in Delhi’s Ramlila ground which was attended by Anna Hazare. But these were events before the launch of Lokpal movement

Would like to have Gen VK Singh in our team: Anna Hazare

Anna Hazare during his Maharashtra tour in a press conference on May 12 said that he would welcome like-minded people like General VK Singh after his retirement as army chief to be a part of his team to fight corruption.
 "I am personally not inclined to ask or request anyone to join our agitation against corruption but we have fought two wars - one against Pakistan and the other against Bangladesh during my service in the Army, now we have to fight the enemy within us", he said.
He further said "And we need like minded people in our team and if interested, General VK Singh is welcome to join us after his retirement. It would be his choice",
"Anna's invite to General V K is most appropriate. Imagine if ex-servicemen join Anna they can become a formidable voice against corruption", Team Anna member Kiran Bedi tweeted on May 13 2012

Anna also said  that the government was unwilling to bring the Right to Information (RTI) Act into force, but had budged after several years of agitation and implemented it in Maharashtra in 2002, and it was later brought into force throughout the country.


Team Anna member Arvind Kejriwal while extending support to Gen Singh had said that they were sure that the Army chief will take a decision on what he will do after retirement on May 31.

What Kalam Said is directly proportional to What Anna wanted (short analysis )

Both the people Kalam and Hazare are correct in their views, Kalam's view that Lokpal can't clean the corruption in the minds and heart of people until people they " make their homes corruption-free by preventing indulgence in corruption by any member of the family"
And Anna's Lokpal is also needed because people will not stop taking or giving bribes until there is some legal support to public and legal hammer for corrupt officer! 
Both statements are correct and actually directly proportional to each other but the need to understand them correctly..

Lokpal will only fill the jails: APJ Kalam

 Former president APJ Abdul Kalam Today( May 2, 2012)  while interacting with children in Ranchi said that lokpal will only do the work of filling culprits into jails.
And he doubted this manner of crumbling corruption saying that  "What we want is nobody should go to jail ... as we want good human beings," .  He advised the children there to make their homes corruption-free by preventing indulgence in corruption by any member of the family. 

"What Lokpal will do is if it finds anyone guilty it would put them in jail, and jails will be filled up. What we want is nobody should go to jail ... as we want good human beings," Dr Kalam said. 

While iteracting

REPLIES to Dr Kalam :- 

1. Anna Hazare responded to Dr. Kalam saying  "I agree that corruption can be weeded out if value education is imparted to children, but it will take at least 22 years. In short term, we need Jan Lokpal to boot out corruption," Hazare said.
2. He also said  "What he (Kalam) said is correct. I have also been saying that every family must become a unit of moral values. It will take over 22 years to see the effect of the virtues children have learnt from their families. However, that is a long-term solution, in short term, we need a first-aid to stop corruption,"
3. On twitter, Ms Bedi responded to Dr Kalam's comments. She wrote: "Dr Kalam takes socio-moral route to root out corruption. Effective system is a fusion of educating-prevention+effective legal deterrence!"

Ans. All the lokpals by government are rejected not only by team Anna but also by many other democrats and activist(even those who are against Anna) including Aruna Roy saying that Government lokpals are more impractical.

Ans. Lokpal is rusting in the drawers of parliament from the last 4 decades and no party passed the bill.

Hindi daily reported that Anna had worked under Deshmukh's leadership in 1983 showing a photo of Anna with Nanaji Deshmukh.Rashid Alvi and Digvijaya Singh wasted no time in terming Anna as an agent of RSS.  
"Anna Hazare worked as Secretary with RSS leader Nanaji Deshmukh and trained in 1983 in Gonda. See Nai Duniya front page today," Singh today wrote on his twitter page.  
However, Team Anna did not hesitate in giving a tit-for tat-response.
 Kiran Bedi also posted a picture of Digvijaya Singh sharing a dais with Nanaji Deshmukh, questioning his RSS links."Does sharing of the dais make one each other's agent. Next time shud one sit alone? When two persons share a dais do they become each others agents,?" Kiran asked. 


Meanwhile, Union Minister Beni Prasad Verma also joined the tirade calling Anna an Army deserter, but his claims seemed to bite dust with the report from Army in which army cleared that Anna's record in army is clear and full of might.
Army records made it clear that  Hazera was honourably discharged in 1975 after completing his 12 years of service.Hazera has also won medals for his service.

Editor's View:  Nanaji Deshmuk was first a social activist (honored with  Padma Vibhushan) then an rss member, the very proof of this statement is his powerful social work regarding anti-poverty and minimum needs programme, agriculture and cottage industry, rural health and rural education etc. Nanaji was an experienced man in terms of rural development.
If we believe the report then we will realize  Anna was with Deshmuk in order to gain experience about rural development from Deshmukh(who had infinite experience in this field )Report says that Anna have participated in  rural development projects started by Deshmukh.So it reveals that Anna contributed to Deshmuk's projects to gain experience from him. It is evident from the report that Anna has worked only and only in Deshmuk's rural projects and not in any other  projects and campaingns by rss.It clearly defines that Anna worked with Deshmuk in his rural developmental projects to learn from Deshmuk about rural development. Deshmuk was one of those politicians with whom any activist can meet for exchange of views and lessons. Even Digvijay who is blaming Anna had shared stage with Deshmuk!

If government extends winter season Anna won't sit on fast on 27 december

 Anna Hazare has given the government an ultimatum. He has warned that if an effective anti-corruption Lokpal Bill is not passed before the Winter Session of Parliament ends on December 22, he will begin an indefinite fast on December 27, will ask people to participate in a jail bharo movement from January 1 and commission demonstrations outside the home of any MP who votes against the bill, or tries to dilute it.

But speaking to NDTV , Kiran Bedi has indicated that "if Anna sees Parliament engaged on the Lokpal Bill, he will be willing to wait."

"If Anna sees Parliament is engaged in drafting the Lokpal Bill, why will he go and sit on a fast on December 27? Why will we do a jail bharo from January 1? If Anna sees the Parliament engaged, he would love to facilitate the engagement," she said.

Uttarakhand Assembly passed Lokayukta Bill

BACKGROUND: Passing of Lokayukat bill in a state means that an anti-corruption ombudsman organization known as Lokayukat will be there in that state headed by the Lokpal at Center level.


NEWS: Lokayukta Bill has been passed by thr Uttarakhand Assembly. Team Anna  said that the passed by Uttarakhand Assembly is "in full spirit of Jan Lokpal Bill".
This  Lokayukta Bill passed by Uttarakhand Assembly have a provision of life imprisonment for those found guilty of corruption. It will also bring the lower judiciary under the ambit of the Lokayukta.
It also provides sweeping powers to the proposed five-member Lokayukta, including separate investigation and prosecution wings. All public servants, including the chief minister, have been brought under its purview.

 "Congratulations. Uttrakhand is the first state which has passed a Lokayukta Bill unanimously in the Assembly. It's in full spirit of Jan Lokpal Bill," Team Anna member Kiran Bedi said.

PUNISH US but don't pollute and loose movement's strength: Arvind

Defending himself and Kiran Bedi, who is under attack for inflating her travel bills, Kejriwal on Tuesday (Oct 25, 2011,)  said, "If someone paid the ticket examiner in Railway because he needed a ticket, so that person cannot question Suresh Kalmadi? Is this the message being given out?
"Do you mean to say that out of 120 crore people, only saints can question UPA's corruption and government will keep on robbing people? If anybody questions then that person will be asked to look into his case first," he said and warned that if the current smear campaign continues, the next movement will be 10 times bigger.


"Dont forgive us. Give us twice the punishment given to common people. But bring Lokpal and you will have to," he said.
He lamented that the whole attention is being shifted from corruption movement and Lokpal to core committe which has "no importance".


"Whether Kiran Bedi paid bills or not has become national issue. It will not benefit nation. It will be useful when Lokpal will come. Government should understand that their ways and methods are increasing the anger among people," he said.


"If Kiran bedi has committed a crime, hang her. Send her to jail but talk about Lokpal Bill. Whatever mistake she has done, investigate and punish her but we cannot decide it in a press conference whether the allegations are true or false," he said.
On Lokpal Bill, he said there was no other way than passing Lokpal Bill and they were ready for dialogue.

"When had we run away from dialogue. But on the other hand allegations were levelled against us everyday. They spoilt the atmosphere. Who is creating disturbance. If the government's intentions are honest, then the Bill can be passed in a day," he said.
Asked about the "Gang of Four" referred to by Hazare, Kejriwal said it was a guess and only Hazare knows about it. "I don't know," he said.


"Investigate us, put all the agencies in the country after us, punish us in the harshest way but you will have to bring the Lokpal Bill," he said.
Editor's view: Arvind is right in saying that LOKPAL should not loose strength because facts against them(Arvind and Kiran) maybe real but are presented to loose the strength of the movement. But I don't support Arvind's rail example(first para) as a corrupt is corrupt weather a rail briber or a national level corrupt, small corruption is the root of big one.

Corrupts in team Anna (politics behind Lokpal art-2 )

Kiran Bedi and Arvind Khejrival ,  are facing serious questions by nation,media and especially by politicians about their clean and corruption free character. Many records are intended to reveal some corrupt acts of these members.Kiran Bedi's records are saying that she got money to travel in first class but traveled in cheaper class to get rest of money . Khegrival is being accused of breaking  bond in which he said that he  work for the government for at least two years, but he worked for only one year. For this voilence  he is being asked to pay dues of 9 lakh to the government.

 I will not demand support for Kiran or Arvind but I want to aware all of you that the quest of LOKPAL should not loose strength because these facts maybe real but are presented to loose the strength of the movement, Kiran and Arvind may have done corrupt deeds but these records are being used by even more corrupts to degrade the gravity on LOKPAL . I say if you don't want to believe then don't believe any member of that organisation but PLEASE don't loose you tries and will to bring that bill. Than bill matters a lot and this is proved by the tense actions and trials of businessman and politicians.
