BackgroundGhana (Country in Africa) on investigating the rice export from India, tackled a scam of about Rs 2500 crore. Ghana has submitted its report in a letter to Indian government asking for inquiry of Indian ministers , one of whom is Pranab Mukherjee.
Pranab Mukherjee, who is the strongest candidate for Indian Presidential poll is now charged by Team Anna with corruption charges.
"There are serious allegations of corruption against Pranab Mukherjee. It will be wrong if he becomes the President. There should be an impartial probe into the charges we have levelled against Pranab Mukherjee," Kejriwal said.Manish Sisodia further said on Sunday(june 27) , "All the allegations against Pranab should be investigated freely because it will raise big questions if any person who has corruption charges will become our President."

- T.Anna alleged that Pranab has been named in the Rs 2500 crore rice export scam. Team Anna questioned Pranab about irregularities in rice export to Ghana when he was the External Affairs Minister.
- They also alleged corruption in Scorpene deal and Navy war room leak when Pranab was the Defence Minister.

If such kind of allegations are there ,then it should be solved first .If Pranav is freed from these allegations then only he should be allowed for the candidature of presidential poll...

Yes, we cannot make a person president if he/she has charges of corruption against them.
President is the supreme commander of Indian Army, so giving presidential responsibility to such person is a matter of great risk to our defense system.
