In his latest blog 'Politicians raise some questions and my answer to them', Hazare however sought to blunt criticism that he was against Parliament by contending that only the House can make laws and there was no doubt about it.
But, he reminded, the Lokpal Bill came in the Parliament for passage eight times and it could not clear the hurdles.

- "Who is responsible for this? People are the masters of this country and they have sent their servants to Parliament. When servants don't make laws, then masters have the right to ask why Jan Lokpal Bill was not passed," he said.
- "Lawmakers and bureaucrats are servants of people. But their 'who are you to question us' attitude is an insult to Constitution," Hazare said.
- "Now India is a democratic country. Now if you want to frame laws, then you have to take along experienced people while drafting the laws. Then it should go to Parliament. I hope that people in politics understand this," he said.
