Hindi daily reported that Anna had worked under Deshmukh's leadership in 1983 showing a photo of Anna with Nanaji Deshmukh.
Nanaji Deshmuk was first a social activist (honored with Padma Vibh
ushan) then an rss member, the very proof of this statement is his powerful social work regarding anti-poverty and minimum needs programme, agriculture and cottage industry, rural health and rural education etc.
Nanaji was an experienced man in terms of rural development.
